How I Made It to Eighteen: A Mostly True Story Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Tracy White's graphic novel is an amazing story about how she got through a very rough emotional time in her teenage years. Her illustrations are crisp and full of expression. Her writing style is accessible, and very well balanced. She manages to touch on all aspects of human emotion. I found myself reflecting on my own adolescence as well as my emotional adulthood. There's something very complete about her story and when i finished reading it, I wanted more. More please!

Blind Mountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Blind Mountain is a tightly woven story of father-son conflict. Issues of individuality, personal strength, competence and respect are played out against the backdrop of a mountain hike. The wilderness becomes a character in itself, accurately portrayed and never overplayed. The book is a good fast read with a satisfying punch.

The Value of Believing in Yourself: The Story of Louis Pasteur (Valuetales) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had this book when I was little and I used to beg my mom to read it to me over and over. I loved it. It got me interested in science and research. It is at least partially due to this book that I entered college as a biology major. Highly recommended- I wish it was still in print.
