She has provided a very detailed yet easy to read book that anyone can benefit from reading. As a busy parent, we know what we know and why, but it is so hard to put it in terms that our kids will easily understand. Janie has done all the hard work, superbly annotated; she has gone through the research and put it all together for parents to share with their kids. Many times, we get one side of politics but she goes the extra mile to put down why those on the other side of the fence believe the way that they do. Most books right now focus on what is wrong with our world; Janie provides an uplifting, positive book with optimistic quotes, cartoons and questions to initiate further discussion with your kids. I highly recommend this book for anyone, young or old, that wants a clear understanding of history, politics and where we can be with a little more lemonade in our life! Thank you Janie!!
