A VERY BIG BUNNY by Marisabina Russo tells of Amelia, a very big bunny who is too tall to jump rope, get on the seesaw, or play games with the other bunnies. Amelia is very lonely - until a new, small student joins the class - and seems to like Amelia. Can they find things in common despite very different sizes and abilities?

This is a great book for early readers. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is uplifting. I've bought multiple copies for my younger nieces and nephews and for my friends' kids. The author has other books out there that are also fun reading including the Beans Baker series. All good stuff!

Meet Jack.

He's almost six years old. And that's almost grown up.

After all, he can almost ride a big bike just like his older brother. And he almost never gets scared.

This spunky little almost-six-year-old is ready to take on the world.

Well, almost.

Richard Torrey's sweetly funny tale is sure to resonate with any child who just can't wait to be big.
