(More customer reviews)This was a such a cute book my little sister loves pigs and when she saw the book she was so Happy. I tought she was going to laugh so hard people in France was going to here her. I think this book is great for children.

Sticks and stones will break your bones, and names will sometimes hurt you! This charming circular story demonstrates how unkind words can damage self-esteem and kind ones restore it. It all starts when a snail calls the pig fat. Her remarks upset the pig so much that when she meets a rabbit, she insults him. Soon there is an epidemic of insults, one animal to the next. And since the snail started it, it's up to her to set things right, initiating a similar cycle of apologies.
